Wildeck Office
The Wildeck office was a judicial and administrative unit of the clerical principality of Fulda and the Landgraviate of Hesse .
history
Core of fuldischen Office Wildeck was Burg Wildeck . Fulda acquired the castle in 1301. The diocese of Würzburg also asserted ownership claims. In 1316 there was therefore a feud between Fulda and Würzburg. In 1337 the office went into the possession of the Lords von Trott and von Boyneburg as a divided fuldisches fief . From 1323 Obersuhl belonged to the Wildeck office and in 1363 the place Hönebach by assignment of the Lords of Uffhausen. After various other pledges, the Wildeck office fell to the Landgraviate of Hesse in 1412. In the course of the 16th century, the independent official structure ended and the office became part of the Hessian office of Rotenburg . With this it became part of the Rotenburger Quart in 1627 .
scope
In the end, the office consisted of Obersuhl and Hönebach and the hamlets of Almushof and Schildhof, which belong to Obersuhl .
