The District Court of Backnang is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of eleven district courts (AG) in the district of the District Court of Stuttgart .

Seat and District of the Court

The seat of the court is Backnang in the Rems-Murr-Kreis . The judicial district extends to the cities and communities Allmersbach im Tal , Althütte , Aspach , Auenwald , Backnang, Burgstetten , Großerlach , Kirchberg an der Murr , Murrhardt , Oppenweiler , Spiegelberg , Sulzbach an der Murr and Weissach im Tal . Around 101,000 people live in it. The District Court of Backnang, like every district court, has first instance jurisdiction for civil, family and criminal matters, as well as for all enforcement matters if the debtor is domiciled in the judicial district.

Insolvency proceedings and real estate enforcement are handled by the Ludwigsburg district court and agricultural matters by the Böblingen district court ; Dunning procedures take place centrally at the Stuttgart District Court .
