Ana Vitória Angélica Kliemaschewsk de Araújo (born March 6, 2000 in Rondonópolis , Mato Grosso ), often also called Aninha , is a Brazilian soccer player .

Career

At the age of eleven, Ana Vitória was introduced by her parents to her favorite club in her hometown União EC , which she turned down for lack of a girls' team. Then she presented to local rivals Rondonópolis EC . And although the latter did not have a women's football department either, she was the only girl to be included in the roster of his youth team for boys. Due to her training achievements - according to the applicable regulations, she could not play at any tournament for boys' football - after only one year Emily Lima appointed her to the junior squad of the women's U15 national team. In 2015 she played on loan for the Mixto EC in Cuiabá in the 2015 Brazilian championship . At the age of fifteen and a half, her goal in the 2-1 defeat by Foz Cataratas FC on September 13, 2015 made her the youngest ever goalscorer in the women's soccer championship in Brazil.

In spring 2017 Ana Vitória switched to the club cooperative of SC Corinthians and Grêmio Osasco Audax in the state of São Paulo . For Corinthians she ran in that season both in the Série A1 , where she reached the runner-up, and in the state championship. She played for Audax in the 2017 Copa Libertadores tournament in Paraguay , where she scored the last goal on penalties in the final against CSD Colo-Colo and thus enabled the title to be won.

In January 2019 Ana Vitória announced her move to Benfica Lisbon in the Portuguese second division. She made her debut for her new club on January 30, 2019 in the cup game against Marítimo Funchal . In her first league appearance in the 7-0 win against SC União Torreense on February 6, 2019, she scored her first two goals.

National team

After her admission to the youth development of the national team, Ana Vitória was appointed to the U17 squad for the first time in the same year, for which she played at the U17 South American Championships in Paraguay in 2013 and in Venezuela in 2016, as well as at the U17 World Cup in Jordan . In the same year she played for the first time for the U20 selection at the World Cup in Papua New Guinea . As team captain , she led this team for the first time in December 2017 in the three games of the Nike International Friendlies in the USA and then in January 2018 to win the U20 South American Championship in Ecuador, as well as in the preliminary round at the World Cup in France that followed in August 2018 on.
