André Bistram (born March 25, 1962 in Kiel ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach. He played for Holstein Kiel and FC Schalke 04 , among others .

Player career

youth

Bistram played for Schleswig 06 and Eutin 08 before joining the youth team of Holstein Kiel .

Holstein Kiel

André Bistram joined the second team of the Kieler Spielvereinigung Holstein in 1980 from his youth , and two years later he joined the first team. In his first year there he scored seven, in the second year ten and in the following season 1984/85 eleven goals, making him the club's top scorer. Another year later he was the top scorer in the Oberliga Nord with 27 goals . Bistram scored 55 goals in 111 games for Holstein Kiel.

FC Schalke 04

1986/87 season

For the 1986/87 season André Bistram moved to FC Schalke 04 . He made his debut on August 9, 1986 in a 4-2 defeat by Bayer 04 Leverkusen , where he achieved the final score. Bistram played his first game in the DFB Cup on August 30, 1986 in the 0-1 defeat against 1. FSV Mainz 05 . He was able to prevail immediately as a regular player and scored four goals in the first six games. At the end of the season he had 32 games and 8 goals.

1987/88 season

André Bistram initially remained a regular player in the 1987/88 season , and was used four times in the first 5 games of the season and scored one goal, but then he was not used until the 18th matchday. In the first half of the season he only played one more game against Hannover 96 (1: 3). He left the relegation-threatened club during the winter break for FC St. Pauli in the 2nd Bundesliga .

FC St. Pauli

André Bistram made his debut at the Kiezklub in the second division on March 5, 1988 against Alemannia Aachen when he came on for Fred Klaus in the 57th minute . This season Bistram reached with his club promotion to the Bundesliga , where he made five games, in which he was substituted four times and remained without scoring. In the following two seasons of the Bundesliga, 1988/89 and 1989/90 , he was used four times.

Return to KSV Holstein and smaller clubs

For the 1990/91 season André Bistram went back to Holstein Kiel in the Oberliga Nord. In his first season after his return, he scored ten goals in 17 games.

In July 1992 he moved to league rivals 1. SC Norderstedt , where the now 31-year-old moved into relegation to the 2. Bundesliga 1993/94 , which was lost with 3: 9 points against TSV 1860 Munich . For the 1993/94 season André Bistram went to VfL Pinneberg in the Association League Hamburg . After the end of the season, André Bistram ended his career at the age of 32.

Stations as a trainer

Since October 2012, Bistram has been working as a coach at Schleswig 06 , which plays in the Schleswig-Holstein League .
