Andrea Lindlohr (born February 19, 1975 in Königswinter ) is a German politician from Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen . She has been a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament since 2011 .

education and profession

Andrea Lindlohr grew up in Erpel and graduated from high school in 1994 in Linz am Rhein . She then studied political science and sociology in Tübingen and Leicester and completed her studies with a Magistra Artium . Her main areas of study were political economics and comparative welfare state research. From 2002 to 2011 she was in the parliamentary group of the Greens in the state parliament for economy and labor, since 2006 also for energy.

Political activity

Andrea Lindlohr has been a member of the Greens since 1998. From 1998 to 2002 she was a member of the Tübingen district executive and from 2005 to 2008 the Stuttgart district executive. Since 2009 she has been a member of the district board of the Esslingen Greens. Since 2003 she has been a member of the state board of the Greens Baden-Württemberg .

In the state elections in 2006 , she ran in the state electoral district of Stuttgart III ; she was the country's youngest candidate for the Greens. In the 2009 Bundestag election she ran in the Esslingen constituency .

In the state elections in 2011 , she won a second mandate in the Esslingen constituency and became deputy chairman of the green parliamentary group in the state parliament. After the members of the Kretschmann I cabinet had been named and some Greens had to resign from their Bundestag mandates, Lindlohr was on the list of successors for the German Bundestag . However, she refused because she wanted to stay in the state parliament.

In the 15th electoral period (2011–2016) she was a member of the Presidium, the Finance and Economic Committee, the Standing Committee and the EnBW Deal Investigation Committee .

In the state elections in 2016 , she received 32.3 percent of the vote and thus the direct mandate in the Esslingen state constituency. In the 16th electoral term, she is a member of the Presidium, the Committee on Economics, Labor and Housing, and the Committee on Finance. She is a member of the committee under Article 62 of the Constitution (emergency parliament). Andrea Lindlohr is deputy parliamentary group leader and chairwoman of the working group on economy, labor and housing in her parliamentary group and also its economic policy spokeswoman.

Volunteering

Andrea Lindlohr is a member of the board of trustees of the Esslingen Life Aid Foundation and chairwoman of the Association for the Promotion of the Volkshochschule Esslingen eV

Family and private

Andrea Lindlohr is Roman Catholic, married and has one child. She lives in Esslingen .
