Andreas Jenike (born July 14, 1988 in Hamburg ) is a German ice hockey goalkeeper who has been playing for the Iserlohn Roosters in the German ice hockey league since May 2019 .
Career
In the 2003/04 season Jenike played in the junior Bundesliga for EHC 80 Nuremberg . He then moved to the ECC Preussen Juniors Berlin in the German Junior League . In 2005 he moved to Hanover . Here Jenike was the third goalkeeper in the Oberliga squad of the Hanover Indians and in the squad of the youth team that played in the Junior Bundesliga. In the following three years he gained his first experience in the senior sector, while the regular match practice came from the juniors. In the 2007/08 season, the left catcher also played a few games for EHC Wolfsburg in the Regionalliga Nord .
In summer 2008 Jenike moved to Iserlohner EC (1b) to be the first goalkeeper to play in the Regionalliga NRW . He was also in the 2008/09 season as the third goalkeeper in the DEL squad of the Iserlohn Roosters , where he was used as a back-up. Then Jenike moved to EC Bad Tölz in the league, where he became a regular player. Since 2010 he has also been eligible to play for the Nürnberg Ice Tigers with a support license in the DEL. He made his debut for the Ice Tigers in the 2011/2012 season . In December 2011 Jenike finally signed a two-year contract in Nuremberg, which was valid from the 2012/2013 season .
After the 2018/19 season, Jenike did not receive a new contract in Nuremberg and switched to the Iserlohn Roosters .
