Andreas Svanebo (born May 8, 1983 in Sundsvall ) is a Swedish triathlete , cross-country skier and mountain runner . In the winter triathlon he was world champion (2010) and four times European champion (2007, 2008, 2010 and 2012).

Career

In 2004 Svanebo started a total of three times in the Cross-Country World Cup , where he came in sprint 63 on his debut in Stockholm in February and in November 84 in Gällivare over 15 km classic as well as 18th as the final runner with the second season of the national group . and took last place. In the Scandinavian Cup he achieved his best result in February 2008 with 22nd place in the 30 km freestyle in his birthplace Sundsvall .

Svanebo won the European winter triathlon title in 2007 in Triesenberg-Steg , 2008 in Gaishorn am See , 2010 in Lygna and 2012 in Valsesia and also became world champion in this discipline in Eidsvoll in February 2010 .
In addition, he won two more bronze medals at world championships and two silver medals at European championships. He was also able to win two World Cup and two European Cup races.

In August 2014, after 3:33:43 hours, he came second in the mountain run at the AXA Fjällmaraton in Sweden (1,800 meters in altitude over 43 kilometers).
