Anna Maria Hermansson (born June 18, 1969 in Nordmarkshyttan ) is a former Swedish biathlete .

Anna Hermansson, along with runners such as Eva Korpela , Inger Björkbom , Sabine Karlsson and Mia Stadig, belonged to the first generation of Swedish biathletes who, along with Soviet, Norwegian and, in some cases, Finnish athletes, topped the world from the introduction of the World Championships in 1984 to the first Winter Olympics in 1992 female starters were also allowed to participate in Albertville . She started for the skid club Bore from Torsby .

Hermansson started at the 1987 World Championships in Lahti , where she was 31st of the Sprits. Two years later in Feistritz an der Drau at the first joint world championships for women and men, the placements 25 in the sprint and 17 in the pursuit were added. With Inger Björkbom, Sabine Karlsson and Mia Stadig, she was sixth in the first team race at a world championship. In 1990 Hermansson started at the last time at a world championship, due to weather reasons in Minsk and also at Holmenkollen in Oslo . In the sprint she reached the 29th place, was fifth in the relay with Stadig and Björkbom and was eighth in the team race with Annika Olsen , Annelie Engström and Stadig. After the 1992/93 season , Hermansson ended her career.
