Anneliese Braasch

Anneliese Braasch (* 1935 in Hamburg ) is a German cabaret artist , actress and Low German author .

Life

Braasch grew up bilingually in Hamburg, high and low German . After finishing school, she first trained as a legal assistant . Then she worked as a secretary , was a housewife , mother and model . At the same time she took singing and acting lessons and became a member of the Hamburg cabaret “Die Wendeltreppe” by Dirks Paulun . There they joined with their own literature - and music programs in platform and high German and stood with artists such as Evelyn Künneke and Brigitte Mira , Edgar Bessen , Richard Germer , Hans Scheibner and Otto Waalkes on the stage .

From 1974 to 1991 Braasch recorded a total of eight records and made appearances on the radio , in television programs such as Haifischbar and Talk op Platt as well as in the renowned Thalia Theater . She took her stage farewell in 2006 in Hamburg's Engelsaal with a homage to Hans Leip , the lyricist of u. a. Lili Marleen , a world-famous soldier's song sung by Lale Andersen and Marlene Dietrich . Her great love belongs to the Low German language. Their stories have been published in anthologies , newspapers and magazines .

Anneliese Braasch is married and has lived in Stemmen since 1996 .
