Annette Kelm

Annette Kelm (* 1975 in Stuttgart ) is a German artist and photographer .

Live and act

Annette Kelm studied at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts , where she completed her studies in 2000.

She gained fame through her idiosyncratic color photographs, which are characterized by a documentary style, interspersed with surrealistic and humorous sprinkles, and whose range of motifs includes both still lifes and portraits as well as architecture and landscape. In her work, Kelm addresses cultural and socio-political aspects, whereby she is concerned with the disclosure of perceptual processes. She exhibits her photographs both as single shots and as series of images.

Annette Kelm lives in Berlin .
