Antonio Carlos Cruz Santos
Antônio Carlos Cruz Santos MSC (born November 25, 1961 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Caicó .
Life
Antônio Carlos Cruz Santos joined the Congregation of the Sacred Heart missionaries in, put the profession on February 2, 1988, received on 12 December 1992, the sacrament of Holy Orders . After working in the pastoral care of the parish, he had been involved in training the next generation of the order since 1995. From 2003 to 2011 he was novice master in Pirassununga in the diocese of Limeira . Then he was Pro- Provincial based in Niterói .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Caicó on February 12, 2014 . He was ordained episcopate on May 10th of the same year by the bishop emeritus of Pinheiro , Ricardo Pedro Paglia MSC. Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Crato , Fernando Panico MSC, and the Archbishop of Natal , Jaime Vieira Rocha . The inauguration in the diocese took place two weeks later.
