Anthony Guttig (born October 30, 1988 in Dijon ) is a French ice hockey player who has been under contract with Rouen Hockey Elite 76 in Ligue Magnus since 2017 .
Career
Anthony Guttig began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of the Ducs de Dijon before joining the U18 team at Reims Champagne Hockey in 2004 . In 2006 he returned to his hometown to the Ducs, with whom he played in the Ligue Magnus , the top French division, until 2006 . In the 2008/09 season , the attacker received the trophy Jean-Pierre Graff as the best French junior player in the Ligue Magnus. In the 2011/12 season he and his team won the national cup competition, the Coupe de France . He was also voted the best French player in Ligue Magnus by the media.
In the summer of 2012, Guttig was signed by Mora IK from HockeyAllsvenskan , the second Swedish division, who handed him over to Tranås AIF from third division I in December , where he ended the season. He then moved to Finland, where he first played with Kajaanin Hokki and Mikkelin Jukurit in the second-class Mestis , which he won in 2015 with Jukurit. After this success he was hired by Liiga newcomer KooKoo . In 2016 he returned to Dijon in the Ligue Magnus, but left his home club after a year and joined the league rivals Rouen Hockey Elite 76 .
International
For France's juniors , Guttig took part in the U20 World Cup in Division I in 2008 . In five games he scored one goal and four assists.
He played with the French men's selection at the 2012 , 2013 , 2014 and 2015 World Championships .
