Anton Jastrebov (born March 5, 1988 in Narva , Estonian SSR ) is an Estonian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Tartu Kalev-Välk in the Meistriliiga since 2017 .

Career

Anton Jastrebov began his career as an ice hockey player at Narva PSK in his hometown, but also played individual league games for Kohtla-Järve Viru Sputnik . In 2007 he moved to the Tartu Big Diamonds , with whom he played in the Latvian Ice Hockey League. When the club had to stop playing after a year for financial reasons, he moved to Kalev-Välk within Tartus , for whom he played in the Meistriliiga until 2015 . In 2011, 2012 and 2015 he was Estonian national champion with his club . In 2015 he joined league rivals Kohtla-Järve Viru Sputnik. Since 2017 he has been playing for Kalev-Välk in Tartu.

International

For Estonia , Jastrebov took part in the junior division in Division II at the U18 World Championships in 2005 and 2006 and the U20 World Championships in Division II in 2006 and 2008 , when he was team captain of the Estonians, and Division I in 2007 .

In the senior sector, Jastrebov was nominated for the first time for the World Championship in Division I in 2008 when he and his team had to be relegated to Division II. In Division II, he played at the 2009 and 2014 World Championships when he was promoted to Division I. There he stood on the ice for the team from the Baltic States in 2015 . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Vancouver 2010 .
