Anton Leiss-Huber

Anton Leiss-Huber (* 1980 in Altötting as Anton Simon Richard Leiß-Huber ) is a German opera singer with a tenor voice , author, speaker and actor.

Life

Leiss-Huber is the younger of two sons of an entrepreneur and an art teacher and wood sculptor. At the age of 17 he was one of the winners of the Jugend musiziert competition in the field of singing. After graduating from the König-Karlmann-Gymnasium Altötting , he began his training at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich , but then switched to the Munich University of Music and Theater and the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding , where he obtained his diploma. He then studied at the Vienna Conservatory in the master class operetta .

During his studies he played at the Bavarian State Theater , the Theater Ingolstadt , the Margrave Opera House Bayreuth, at Munich's Prince Regent Theater in Munich Academy Theater and the Munich Gasteig.

From 2009 to 2012 he was a permanent member of the Nordhausen Theater ensemble . Leiss-Huber currently lives in Munich.

On February 6, 2015, his first novel "Gnadenort" was published by Ullstein Verlag in Berlin . This was followed on January 13, 2017 by the second part "Fastenopfer". On June 10, 2020, the third part of his crime series with the investigator duo Commissioner Max Kramer and novice Maria Evita "Gevatter Tod in Altötting" was published by Gmeiner-Verlag .

In addition to his stage work, he is active as an author and speaker for Bavarian Broadcasting .

Anton Leiss-Huber is the first known stage interpreter of Sam Borzalino from Erich Wolfgang Korngold's only operetta: The silent serenade .
