Anton Plattner

Anton "Toni" Plattner (born October 23, 1967 in Selb , Bavaria ) is a former German ice hockey player who played in the ice hockey Bundesliga for the Mannheim ERC .

Player career

The 1.80 m tall defender began his professional career in 1985 at VERE Selb in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey , after two years he moved to league rivals SV Bayreuth . For the 1990/91 season right-shooter signed a contract with the first division club Mannheimer ERC, for whose outsourced professional team, the "Adler Mannheim", he was on the ice even after the DEL was founded. After a serious injury, Plattner had to pause the entire 1995/96 season and then only played for lower-class teams.

Toni Plattner ended his career after the 1999/2000 season with the upper division Eisbären Juniors Berlin .
