Antoni Pacyfik Dydycz OFMCap (bourgeois Antoni Dydycz; born August 24, 1938 in Serpelice ) is a Polish religious and bishop emeritus of Drohiczyn .

Life

Antoni Pacyfik Dydycz joined the order of the Capuchins and the Bishop of Łomża , Czeslaw Falkowski , ordained him a priest on March 27, 1955 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Drohiczyn on June 20, 1994 . The Apostolic Nuncio in Poland , Józef Kowalczyk , donated him episcopal ordination on July 10 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Stanisław Szymecki , Archbishop of Białystok , and Francesco Gioia OFMCap, Archbishop of Camerino-San Severino Marche . As a motto he chose Populus Tuus - Hereditas Tua .

Antoni Pacyfik Dydycz is Grand Officer of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on March 29, 2014.
