The Argance is a river in France that runs in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises south of the local area of Villaines-sous-Malicorne , generally drains in a south-westerly direction and after around 20 kilometers flows into the Loir as a right tributary in the municipality of Durtal . On its way, the Argance crosses the Sarthe and Maine-et-Loire departments . In the mouth section it runs next to the A11 motorway .
