Arie de Vroet (born November 9, 1918 in Oud-Beijerland , † September 8, 1999 in Woudenberg ) was a Dutch football player . The midfielder of Feijenoord was from 1938 to 1949 in the national team active before as a professional in France who concluded his career.

Club career

De Vroet started his career at Feijenoord when he was 18. In the Rotterdam team he first played in attack , later he moved to left midfield . He was considered an excellent technician with great enthusiasm. By 1950 he made 230 league games for Feijenoord, in which he scored 31 goals. In 1941 he became champions with the team . National team
