The Arizona National Guard of the US state Arizona was founded in 1863 and is part of the United States National Guard ( acronymized USNG ) established in 1903 and thus also part of the second level of the military reserve of the United States' armed forces .

The members of the National Guard are voluntary service payable militiamen that the Governor of Arizona Doug Ducey are subject.
