Arkansaw is located in western Wisconsin at the confluence of Arkansaw Creek in the Eau Galle River , which is part of the Mississippi River basin over the Chippewa River . This forms the border between Wisconsin and the neighboring state of Minnesota , around 30 km west and south-west of Arkansaw .
