The Arly is a river in France that runs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It is created by the confluence of its source streams Planay and Clapet , which come from the area of Mont Joly ( 2525  m ) and the Aiguille Croche ( 2487  m ). The union takes place below Megève . From here the Arly generally drains in a south-westerly direction and after 35 kilometers flows into Albertville as a right tributary into the Isère . On its way, the Arly crosses the Haute-Savoie and Savoie departments .
