Arne Lindtner Næss

Arne Lindtner Næss (born December 19, 1944 in Bergen ) is a Norwegian actor , director , producer and artistic director of television series and screenwriter .

Career

Lindtner Næss completed an acting education and made his first debut as a theater actor in 1971 in the play Montserrat at Det Norske Teatret , where he worked until 1973. He then went to Den Nationale Scene -Theater from 1973 to 1975 and subsequently appeared in many other well-known Norwegian theaters. Lindtner Næss worked as a film actor in several film and television productions and had his first film debut in the Norwegian film Brent jord as Ilja in 1969 . His best-known film appearance as an actor was in 1996 in the role of Frode Birkeland in the family saga De syv søstre , which was broadcast on Norwegian television TV 2 . Lindtner Næss has also worked as a director, screenwriter and artistic director of television series since 1985. He also wrote the script for several episodes of the Norwegian soap opera Hotel Cæsar and directed it. For Norwegian films of the Junior Olsen Gang He has also worked as a director and wrote for almost all the episodes of this series the script . His mother Randi Lindtner Næss was a Norwegian opera singer and stage actress. The Norwegian director and screenwriter Peder Hamdahl Næss is his son.
