Olsen Gang Jr. går under vann , German title: (German: The Olsen Gang Junior goes under water ), German title Film Festival: The Olsen Gang Junior goes into hiding , is a Norwegian children's film of 2003 from the film series Junior Olsen Gang (Norway) .
action
Around 1959, Egon Olsen lived under poor conditions in the Lykkebo children's home in Oslo . When there is again miserable food in the home, Egon steals better food in the form of a cake with the help of Benny and Kjell , the head of the orphanage Rudolf Bollerud and the Biffen gang . The coup fails and Egon has to be arrested as a punishment. Egon comes out of detention with a plan under his arm. Now he knows how to get away from the home: he would like to be adopted by the rich Gyldenløwe family, who absolutely want to have a child in the home. With the help of itching powder and a piece of smelly cheese as well as other tricks, he outsmarted his peers when choosing. As a result, Egon is ultimately chosen by the rich family. Benny and Kjell are thrilled. But not for long. As in almost every Olsen Gang film, of course something goes wrong here too. When Egon and his new parents arrive "at home" at a factory with security guards instead of the promised Villa Gyldenløwe , which is even said to have a swimming pool, his adoptive parents show their true colors. To his horror, his "new father" removes the false beard and his "new mother" removes the wig. It turns out that his new "adoptive father" is in reality the fraudulent entrepreneur Bang-Johansen and his "adoptive mother" is Ursula Wasserschmidt , the daughter of the high German officer Otto Wasserschmidt from WWII . The employees of his supposed adoptive parents are recruited from German and Norwegian scientists and from collaborators as well as the former German officer Major Schultze . In the planned “Operation Underwater” they want to use Egon Olsen to use a diving bell to lift a treasure from the German submarine, nicknamed Schnaps, which was sunk in World War II . In the submarine lying on the bottom in the Oslofjord , crown jewels, gold, diamonds, brilliants and the like are said to be in a safe made by Franz Jäger, Berlin 1944 . Only a very small person like Egon can get in through a tiny hatch. Egon Olsen is supposed to fix the safe to the cable of the ship from Bang-Johansen from a lowered diving cabin . Egon is able to free himself from his prison and overhears her plans for the Unterwasser enterprise . When he was released, Egon had other plans. With the help of Kjell , Benny and Dynamit Harry , he wants to take the money back from the director of his orphanage, who received a million in cash from Bang-Johansen for the placement and the adoption papers. The plan is running like clockwork at first and you can easily get the “red suitcase” with the million from the safe of the orphanage. However, Bang-Johansen and Ms. Wasserschmidt Egon are now very close on their heels. This still investigating the Biffenbande on their behalf by the Olsen Gang . During the pursuit, the red suitcase of Egon's adversary is lost. Egon now remembers the company Unterwasser and develops a new ingenious plan in which he inaugurates Benny , Kjell and Dynamit-Harry . In line with the plan, Egon can be captured again. A ship was chartered by his opponents for the "Unterwasser Company" . The diving cabin with Egon is lowered and the treasure is raised. The Olsen Gang can trick the company's underwater team . Benny , equipped with an old-fashioned diving suit, hangs the diving bell with Egon and the Franz-Jäger-Safe on her own cable during the lift. Kjell and Dynamit-Harry are supposed to supply Benny's diving suit with air by means of a hand pump and pull him and the safe onto their camouflaged platform on the Oslofjord with a manual winch. At the same time, Hermann is on a sailing trip near her with Kjell's relaxed friend Valborg . Herman gets into distress and leaves Valborg in the lurch, so that Kjell has to save her. In return, Kjell leaves everything behind and puts Egon's plans in danger. Dynamite Harry alone has to operate the air pump and the cable winch with the safe on the hook at the same time. Last but not least, Benny , Kjell , Valborg and Egon , who have run out of air, can save themselves on their platform. The Franz-Jäger-Safe is salvaged and opened by Egon . The entire team of "Operation Unterwasser" is arrested by the police (Hermansen and Holm) and Herman (son of Hermansen), who came under the control of Bang-Johansen , is freed. Despite all this, they have to hand over the treasure from the safe to the police and thus to the Norwegian state. For this, the Olsen Gang receives a whopping bonus and the children from Egon's former orphanage are given good food and drinks. Also Kjell and Valborg are happy together again at the end.
Film festival description
“Egon is sitting in the orphanage on Lykkebo and wants nothing more than a family of his own. The wealthy Gyldenløwes contact the home manager Bollerud because they want to adopt a son. Egon is actually chosen and is suddenly the son of wealthy parents with his own villa including a swimming pool. Egon doesn't know that the Gyldenløwes paid the home manager a million crowns for having nothing to do with the adoption paperwork. After a tearful goodbye to his buddies Kjell and Benny, Egon is shocked to discover that the Gyldenløwes are in fact scammers looking for a diamond-filled safe to be found in the submarine schnapps that was in the final days of World War II went down in the fjord. The Gyldenløwes also have plans for Egon. But Egon and his friends find out what the plans are and then the complications begin. The subsequent hunt leads through creepy alleys, dark one-way streets - and both above and below water. The Olsen gang has to use all their cunning to outsmart the fraudsters. "

The film is a remake of the 2001 Danish movie Olsenbande Junior . For this purpose, Sverre Holm and Arne Lindtner Næss changed the film accordingly and rewritten the script. In contrast to the Danish version, Egon is not supposed to be shot into space, but has to lift a treasure of former German officers and scientists or Norwegian collaborators from a submarine hull in the Oslofjord . The film Olsen Gang jr. går under vann is a sequel to the Norwegian television series Olsenbandens første kupp from the Olsenbande Junior (Norway) film series. In France, the film appeared in cinema and television under the title: Olsen et sa bande: Le trésor du sous-marin .
The film was shown in 2003 at the Nordic Film Days in Lübeck under the German title: "The Olsen Gang dive under". In 2004 the movie Olsenbanden Junior på rocker'n ("The Olsenbande Junior rocks") was released. A German-language publication does not yet exist for this film.
