Olsen Gang Junior og Det sorte gullet (German: " The Olsen Gang Junior and the Black Gold ") is a Norwegian children and family film by Arne Lindtner Næss from 2009 . The film from the Olsenbande Junior film series was produced by Nordisk Film and TV 2 and had its cinema premiere on January 30, 2009 in Norway.

Oslo in the early 1960s. In the Olsen Gang class , a school student goes cycling . Egon , Benny and Kjell are at the forefront of the cycling competition and after a major climb they are done accordingly. Kjell in particular is very exhausted and his rusty bicycle chain absolutely needs some oil . The Olsen gang takes a break at a gas station. Egon secretly taps some oil from a suitable barrel at the gas station with a hose so that everyone can oil their bicycle chains. The Biffen gang , who has meanwhile arrived at the gas station, thwarted this and laid the hose on the street to crush the Olsen gang. Hermansen and Holm , who support Herman on the bike with a motorcycle team , skid in the oil pool in front of the gas station and drive into the bushes. Egon Olsen has to be arrested again as the alleged perpetrator.

After serving his sentence, Egon is picked up by Benny and Kjell from the Lykkebo children's home in the usual manner . But Egon already has a new plan. He learned that new oil deposits are suspected in the North Sea. The final result is to be announced by engineer Hallandsen when his research vessel arrives at the port of Oslo . Egon Olsen persuades his friends to buy cheap oil stocks immediately in order to be able to make a profit before the oil discoveries are announced and the subsequent discovery of the North Sea. To do this, they are now pooling their savings to become oil shareholders. Benny and Kjell are supposed to wait for the research vessel at the harbor and Dynamit-Harry is supposed to use a mirror to signal whether the oil discoveries are confirmed. In this case Dynamit-Harry wants to fire a shot with a historic cannon in the port of Oslo. Egon is waiting accordingly prepared at Børshagen Park in front of the Oslo Stock Exchange and, if he hears the shot, can speculatively buy oil stocks at a cheap price. But engineer Hallandsen announced to the press at the port that allegedly no North Sea oil had been found. Due to a mishap by Kjell , a signal transmission with the mirror takes place and Dynamite-Harry fires the shot with the cannon. Olsen now assumes that the corresponding securities will rise in price and then buys the supposed oil stocks on the Oslo Stock Exchange for the Olsen Gang.

However, due to the negative prospecting of Hallandsen, these shares have completely slipped into the basement. With that, the hoped-for speculative profit is gone for the Olsen Gang. Egon doesn't let that discourage him. He observed Hallandsen s survey ship , which lies in the harbor Oslo, and gets so with that Hallandsen lied einzustreifen the profits themselves. The engineer would rather do a deal with an Arab oil sheikh who is on board the research vessel rather than with the Norwegian government. At a propitious moment, Egon steals a red suitcase that contains the correct oil sample. This is the proof that corresponding oil deposits have been found in the Norwegian North Sea . When Hallandsen and the oil sheikh Araban El-Altam notice the theft, Egon is wanted by them as the alleged thief.

Hallandsen and the oil sheikh want to prevent the truth about the oil discoveries from becoming public. The Olsen Gang Junior, on the other hand, wants to pass this message on to the Norwegian authorities. But not everything is going as planned. When Hassan , a nephew of the Oil Sheikh, is talking to Valborg , he is surprised by his uncle and Valborg is kidnapped. Araban El-Altam proposes a deal to the Olsen gang : the red suitcase in exchange for Valborg . With a heavy heart, the Olsen Gang agrees. But their partners don't stick to the agreement and take the suitcase without releasing Valborg . Hallandsen and the oil sheikh disappeared in a private plane with the kidnapped Valborg to Egypt. Since Valborg was last seen with the Olsen gang, the police assume that only the Olsen gang can be responsible for their abduction. Detective Inspector Hermansen and his assistant Holm instruct the Biffen gang to track down the Olsen gang and, if necessary, to arrest them. Hermansen's son Herman also participates in the search. After many more complications, however, they can escape their pursuers.

Based on a photograph left behind by Hassan , the Olsen gang assume that the kidnappers flew to Cairo , Egypt. The Olsen Gang Junior goes as stowaways on a cargo ship in order to get to Egypt and free Valborg from captivity. The Olsen Gang leaves a clue that Hermansen and Holm follow to Egypt. The Olsen Gang find the trail of the kidnappers from Valborg in Egypt. It leads to the Giza plateau in the Mokattam Hills , directly to the great Great Pyramid of Giza, where Valborg is being held captive. After some exciting adventures, the Olsen Gang can penetrate the pyramid thanks to Egon's combination skills, free Valborg and finally get their hands on the red suitcase with the evidence of the Norwegian oil deposits in the North Sea. Engineer Hallandsen and the oil sheik are convicted and arrested by Hermansen and Holm . On their return to Oslo, the members of the Olsen Gang are ceremoniously received and honored as national heroes for saving the oil in the North Sea for Norway. Egon also receives oil shares as an award from the minister.

Remarks

The film refers to the North Sea oil discovered in the 1960s , which later led to prosperity in Norway . The film is a direct sequel to Olsen Gang jr. Sølvgruvens hemmelighet (“The Olsen Gang Junior and the Secret of the Silver Stud”) from the Olsen Gang Junior film series. In 2010 this was the last episode for the time being Olsen Gang jr. Mestertyvens skatt ("The Olsen Gang Junior and the Master Thief") continued. In Spain the film was released under the title: Junior Olsen Gang y el secreto del oro negro and in Italy under the title: La banda Olsen alla ricerca dell'oro nero .

The film has now also been released on DVD . A German-language publication does not yet exist for this film.
