The Arnumer Landwehr is an orographic left or western tributary of the Alte Leine in the area of the city of Hemmingen in the Hanover region in Lower Saxony ( Germany ), about 10.5 kilometers long .
geography
The Arnumer Landwehr arises from trenches in the Feldmark east of the Springer district of Lüdersen in the Hemminger area, crosses the Linderter and Stamstorfer wood in a northerly direction and absorbs the water of several trenches. The following 9.15 km section is supervised by the responsible entertainment association. The direction of flow turns to the northeast. The Arnumer Landwehr passes the Hemming districts of Hiddestorf and Ohlendorf and passes under Bundesstraße 3 in Arnum, which gives it its name . After flowing around several gravel ponds , it flows into the Alte Leine southeast of Wilkenburg .

The Arnumer Landwehr connects several areas of nature and landscape protection in the area of the city of Hemmingen. It is being built in the Landwehr - Süllberg landscape protection area (LSG H 00022) and crosses the FFH area Linderter and Stamstorfer Holz in this area . It passes the protected landscape component Bruchwiesen (GLB-H 22), crosses the landscape protection area Obere Leine (LSG H 00021) and flows into the nature protection area Alte Leine (NSG-HA 191) and thus also in the FFH area Leineaue between Hanover and Ruthe .
