Arriana ( Greek Αρριανά ( n. Pl. )) Has been a municipality in the northeastern Greek region of East Macedonia and Thrace since 2011 . The parish is divided into four parish districts. The administrative headquarters are in Fillyra .

The municipality of Arriana with an area of 771.175 km² is located in the east of the East Macedonia and Thrace region and borders Bulgaria in the north . Adjacent communities are Soufli in the east, Alexandroupoli in the southeast , Maronia-Sapes in the south and Komotini in the west . The municipality is divided into two parts. The local communities Agiochori, Ipio, Neda and Strofi of the Arriana municipality form an exclave to the southeast. This lies between Soufli, Alexandroupoli and Maronia-Sapes.
Administrative division
The municipality was formed after the administrative reform in 2010 from the merger of the former municipalities Fillyra , Arriana and the rural municipalities Kechros and Organi . The administrative seat of the municipality is the city of Fillyra. The former municipalities have since formed municipal districts. The community is further subdivided into a city district and 35 local communities.
