action

Automotive provides insights into a generation for whom work is neither essential for their own identity nor a secure livelihood. The bond with the employer, as it used to be, has disappeared. The film shows the life plans of two women who have to assert themselves in the auto industry and whose jobs will sooner or later disappear due to automation. The lives of two young women are juxtaposed: Headhunter Eva (33) recruits logistics specialists in the automation field for Audi in Ingolstadt . She also sees her own job disappearing in the long term, but wants to have saved enough money beforehand so that she no longer has to work and can live with her friend in the Caribbean . The worker Sedanur (20) dreams of her own Mercedes . As a temporary worker , she was one of the first to lose her job in the diesel crisis. Although the two have very different levels of education, automation affects them both. The past and the future meet in the halls of the automobile manufacturer, where drones transport steering wheels as the crow flies while temporary workers fear for their jobs.
