The winner of the game wins the Boston Trophy .

Premier Division

The BAFA Premier Division consists of 11 teams, split into the two Conferences North and South . Each participant in a conference plays twice against every other team in his conference. In the play-offs , the winner of one conference plays against the runner-up in the other conference. The winners of the two encounters carry out the BritBowl .

Division One

Division One is divided into two conferences of two divisions each, in which four teams play each, so a total of 16. Each team plays one game against each team in its conference and another game against each team in its division.

To qualify for the play-offs, a team must be in the top four of its conference. The 1st of a conference plays against the 4th and the 3rd against the 2. The winners of these games then play in the conference championship game for entry into the championship game.

Division Two

Division Two is divided into two conferences of three divisions each, which are geographically divided into North , East , South and West .

The Division Two play-off series consists of two game rounds. The winners of a conference are automatically qualified for the second round. The first round takes place in which the remaining division winners are sorted according to their results and numbers are assigned in the order they are. The 1st then plays against the 4th and the 2nd against the 3. The winners then play against one of the Conference winners in the second round. The winners of the second round then play for the division title in the championship game.
