List of train stations in the Netherlands |
The Station Kruiningen-Yerseke is a railway station on the outskirts of the industrial area between Kruiningen and Yerseke in the Dutch province of Zeeland . It is located on the Zeeuwse Lijn ( Zealand Line ), which runs from Vlissingen via Roosendaal to Amsterdam .
The station was opened in 1868. It has two tracks and a central platform, where an Intercity to Amsterdam or Vlissingen stops every half hour in each direction . There is a large Park & Ride car park on the forecourt , which was intended for travelers who wanted to take the ferry from Kruiningen to Perkpolder , Zeeuws Vlaanderen and the other side of the Scheldt ; However, this connection has not existed since 2003, as there is the Westerschelden tunnel in the immediate vicinity , which is why the parking lot is mostly not in use.
