history

In 1877 the Pommersche Centralbahn opened the two sections Konitz – Schlochau and Tempelburg – Ruhnow . A year later, after closing the gap between Schlochau and Tempelburg, a connection was established between West Prussia and western Pomerania . From the route of the Prussian Eastern Railway in Konitz you could also reach connecting railways to the north in Schlochau and Neustettin : to Reinfeld and Rummelsburg or to Schneidemühl and Stolp ( Słupsk ) as well as to Belgard and Kolberg .

Between November 1, 1918 and September 1, 1939, the line between Konitz (Chojnice in Polish) and Deutsch Briesen was interrupted because of the German-Polish border demarcation (" Polish Corridor "). In 1926 a bypass curve was built, which was closed again in 1939 after the occupation of Poland.

Since 1945, the area covered by the route has been entirely in Poland; In the PKP -internal nomenclature, the route from Chojnice to Runowo Pomorskie has route number 210.
