Bahoe Books is a publisher in Autogestion from Vienna . The focus of the publication is on the rebellious and revolutionary history of the European labor movement , its criticism of political economy , as well as the publication of biographies , novels , short stories and graphic novels on related topics. The publisher publishes in German , Greek and English .

The publishing house was founded in 2011. In the first few years all publications were produced in-house. To spread the published writings of the publisher used the principle Dschabalesku , so the market-independent transfer of writings against free made donations . This mostly took place at book presentations or via a network of anti-authoritarian social centers, libraries , info cafés or occupations, especially in Switzerland and Austria. With increasing circulation, however, this way of distribution was replaced by conventional market participation. The publisher's books have been given fixed prices since 2016 and are available or can be ordered in all bookshops in German-speaking countries. Bahoe Books' Greek publications are also distributed in Greece.

The focus of the publications is on political literature, often translations from French , Italian , Spanish or English. In addition, there are new editions of out of print works and the promotion of regional and new literature, as well as comics and graphic novels.
