The Bankhaus J. Faisst OHG is a private bank in the legal form of a general partnership based in Wolfach in the Black Forest . history

The bank was founded on November 3, 1926 by Johannes Faisst (1892–1967) under the name J. Faisst, banking as a sole proprietorship in Wolfach. With effect from January 1, 1953, the banking business was converted into the legal form of the open trading company that still exists today. At the same time, Hans Faisst and Else Ludwig geb. Faisst, son and daughter of the company founder, became a partner in the bank. In the fall of 1953 a paying office was opened in Schapbach , and in 1969 a branch in Schramberg . In 1958, the co-owner Else Ludwig retired from active banking and transferred her activities to her husband Hans Ludwig (1928–2015). Today the bank is managed by Peter Ludwig and Eugen Schlachter.

Business area and branches

In addition to the headquarters in Wolfach, there is a branch in Schramberg and a paying office in Bad Rippoldsau-Schapbach .
