The Bedat (also written: Bédat ) is a river in France that runs in the Puy-de-Dôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises on the municipal boundary of Chanat-la-Mouteyre and Orcines , first passes the city of Clermont-Ferrand in the north , drains generally towards the northeast and flows into the Morge after 26 kilometers in the municipality of Saint-Laure as a right tributary .
