Confesses Friends, Hallelujah Is Coming is a comedic spaghetti western directed by Giuliano Carnimeo with George Hilton in the lead role. The Italian-French-German co-production started on October 20, 1972 in cinemas in German-speaking countries.
action
The gunslinger Hallelujah can be hired for a considerable sum to find an Aztec statue for the Mexican general Ramirez, with the help of which Ramirez would get the Indians to fight against Maximilian and his general Miranda. The statue was stolen by a couple of thieves, the pretty Flora and the Scots Archie, who - regardless of their ideal value - hide jewels in it. The statue falls into the hands of two peons, who they exchange in a pawn shop. When Hallelujah locates her, he sells her instead of the general to a businessman, Ferguson, who in turn wants to pass her on to General Miranda in exchange for the assurance of extensive trade. After he got it back from the leader of the Indian tribe, where it has now ended up, he discovers that it is a fake. The right statue is still in the possession of Hallelujah, who manages to pit everyone interested in it - Ferguson, Miranda, Flora and Archie - against each other. Then he hands it to General Ramirez.

In contrast, Segnalazioni Cinematografiche found that the little humorous Western staged according to a formula lacks ingenuity.
