Bella Vista is a town in the Pando department in the lowlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Bella Vista is the third largest town in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Cobija in the province of Nicolás Suárez and is located at an altitude of 258 m . Bella Vista is the first independent municipality south of the city of Cobija on the way to Porvenir and is only two kilometers west of the border with Brazil .

Bella Vista is located in the Bolivian part of the Amazon basin , northeast of the foothills of the Peruvian Cordillera Oriental in the tropical rainy climate of the equatorial zone .
The temperature fluctuations are low, both during the day and during the year. The annual average temperature is 25 ° C. The humidity is high, so that there is repeated heavy rain for much of the year . The annual precipitation of around 1750 mm is more than double the precipitation in Central Europe. Only the months of June to August are characterized by a dry season , in which the low rainfall evaporates quickly.
Transport network
Bella Vista is a few kilometers by road south of Cobija , the capital of the department of the same name.
From the northern edge of Cobija the paved road Ruta 13 leads south and reaches Bella Vista after eight kilometers. From there it continues in a southerly direction over the neighboring municipality Villa Busch to Porvenir , and from there in an easterly direction over another 337 km to El Triangulo in Beni Department , where the north-south running Ruta 8 of Guayaramerín to Rurrenabaque meets .
