Bellinger Berg

The Bellinger Berg is a nature reserve in the area of ​​the town of Steinau an der Strasse in the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse . The nature reserve around the 345 meter high Bellinger Berg is located northwest of Bellings , a district of Steinau an der Straße, between the state road  3196 running to the west , the county road  947 running south and the state road 3372 running to the east.

The 95.59  hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve since 1985 under the code 1435040. It is under nature protection in order to “protect and maintain this distinctive shell limestone cone as a location and habitat for a number of rare and endangered animal and plant species”.
