Red pool from Wolfgang
The Rote Lache by Wolfgang is a nature reserve in the area of the city of Hanau in the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse . The nature reserve is located in Bulau, east of the Hanau district of Wolfgang, directly on the A 45 to the west at the Hanauer Kreuz . This boggy forest is traversed by the Doppelbiergraben . The Limes once ran right through the Rote Lache .
meaning
The 63.58 hectare area with the identification 1435022 has been designated as a nature reserve since 1981. It is under nature protection in order to "preserve the rare plant communities with various large sedge societies, black cherry-alder-ash break forest, pedunculate oak-hornbeam forest in the zoning unique for this natural area and to protect endangered animal and plant species in the Hesse Red List."
