Beltirskoje ( Russian Бельтирское even Beltyrskoje, Бельтырское ; Khakas Пілтірдеги аалы ) is a village (selo) in the Republic of Khakassia ( Russia ) with 4853 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).

The place is a good 100 km as the crow flies southwest of the republic capital Abakan on the left (western) bank of the Yenisei tributary Abakan .
Beltirskoje belongs to Rajon Askisski and from its administrative headquarters Askis about 15 km to the southwest. It is the seat and only locality of the rural municipality Beltirskoje selskoje posselenije
history
The place was founded in 1951 in connection with the establishment of a Fostwirtschaftsbetrieb, initially under the name Nowostroika ("new building"). The smaller Jubileiny settlement was built at the railway station 3 km to the north-west, which went into operation in 1959 . In the same year, the settlements were combined and received as Beltirski, after Khakassian Subethnie the Biltiren (Russian beltyry or beltiry ) the status of an urban-type settlement . In the 1980s the form Beltyrski ( Бельтырский ) was also in use. In 1995 the place was downgraded to a village again.

In the north-western part of Beltirskoye, Beltyry station is on the Askis - Abasa railway line . The regional road A161 , which connects Abakan with Ak-Dowurak in the neighboring Republic of Tuva to the south, passes to the west of the town center . At the village, a road branches off that crosses the Abakan a little downstream and runs through the neighboring district of Beja to Sajanogorsk on the Yenisei.
