Bernd Kipp (born August 12, 1948 in Gelsenkirchen-Buer ) is a German football coach and former player.

life and career

Bernd Kipp was born in 1948 in the Gelsenkirchen district of Buer. His playing career led the attacker in 1968 from BV 06 Altenessen to the newly promoted regional league Eintracht Duisburg . Despite the later successful Bundesliga player Friedhelm Haebermann as a teammate, Kipp could not do anything against the relegation of Duisburg in 13 missions without a goal. On the other hand, his second attempt in the then second -rate regional football league West was completely different . For the Regional newly promoted Eintracht Gelsenkirchen he scored in the season 1970/71 in 31 league games 17 goals and the team of Südstadion on heath Kamp finished surprising fifth. In coach Heinz Murach's team , he had players like Willi Koslowski , Klaus Kubasik , Günter Schwaba , Wolfgang Thier and Günther Thon by his side. In the second season, 1971/72, Kipp scored 12 goals in 33 games and Eintracht finished in 10th place.

Heinz Lucas , coach of Fortuna Düsseldorf , brought him to Düsseldorf in 1972 in the Bundesliga . In his second year in the 2nd Bundesliga, 1975/76, he was able to score three more goals in 17 league games under coach Rudi Faßnacht and the Prussians took third place.

As full profit prevailed in football in the mid-1970s , he ended his playing career for the time being and finished his teacher training course . He later became a teacher at the Wolbeck high school and played football at the top amateur level at FC Olympia Bocholt and later at TuS Xanten . From 1979 to 1981 Kipp acted as a player- coach at SV Wilmsberg , where he kept the league with 18 goals . In 1995 Bernd Kipp coached the team from Preußen Münster; In 2001 he returned to SV Wilmsberg as a coach for four years.
