Berry van Aerle (actually Hubertus Aegidius Hermanus van Aerle ) (born December 8, 1962 in Helmond ) is a former Dutch national football player .

Van Aerle played for 13 seasons between 1981 and 1995 as a right-back with the Dutch first division PSV Eindhoven . During the 1986/1987 season he was loaned to Royal Antwerp after four assignments . In the 1995/96 season van Aerle let his career at Helmond Sport end.

Van Aerle played a total of 315 official club games and scored 14 goals. In addition, he appeared 35 times between October 14, 1987 and October 14, 1992 in the jersey of the Dutch national football team and was 1988 European champion under Rinus Michels .
