Hendrik "Hendrie" Krüzen (born November 24, 1964 in Almelo , Netherlands ) is a former Dutch football player . He played on the left winger position .
Krüzen began his professional career in 1980 at SC Heracles Almelo . In the 1980s and 1990s he played for various Dutch professional clubs , including FC Den Bosch , PSV Eindhoven , AZ Alkmaar and Go Ahead Eagles Deventer . In Belgium he played with KV Kortrijk , RFC Lüttich and KSV Waregem .
Krüzen played five international matches wearing the Dutch national team without scoring a goal. In 1988 he won the title at the European Championship , but only made a short appearance in the preliminary round.
He ended his career in 2002 and then worked as an assistant coach at Heracles Almelo . From there he moved together with head coach Peter Bosz for the 2013/14 season to league rivals Vitesse Arnheim . After the athletically successful Bosz became head coach at Ajax Amsterdam for the 2016/2017 season , Krüzen followed him there to coach Borussia Dortmund from July 1, 2017. On December 10th, Bosz and Krüzen were released.
Since January 4, 2019, Bosz and Krüzen have been working together again in the German Bundesliga, this time at Bayer 04 Leverkusen .
