Bertil Wetzelsberger
Bertil Wetzelsberger (born May 7, 1892 in Ried im Innkreis , † November 28, 1967 in Stuttgart ) was an Austrian conductor and artistic director.
Wetzelsberger worked primarily in Germany as a conductor, general music director and artistic director at theaters in Stuttgart , Frankfurt am Main , Munich and Nuremberg .
He was an expert in contemporary music and has conducted several world premieres of Carl Orff's works , including his Carmina Burana .
His grave is in the Pragfriedhof Stuttgart .
