Beta Dumančić (born March 26, 1991 in Osijek ) is a Croatian national volleyball player . The middle blocker has been playing at SSC Palmberg Schwerin since 2017 , with whom she won the DVV Cup and the German championship.

Career

Dumančić started playing volleyball at the age of 14. Until 2012 she played in her hometown for ŽOK Pivovara Osijek. Then she went to college at Clemson University and played on the Clemson Tigers university team. In 2015 the middle blocker switched to the Czech club SK UP Olomouc . She took part in the 2016 Grand Prix with the Croatian national team. In the 2016/17 season she played in the Polish league for PTPS Piła .

Then she was committed by the German master SSC Palmberg Schwerin . In her first season with the Schwerin women she won the VBL Supercup and the German championship . After initially not receiving a new contract for the 2018/19 season, Dumančić returned to the German champions for another year due to a serious injury to Marie Schölzel . With the club she won the VBL Supercup at the beginning of the season. Schwerin then won the DVV Cup final against Stuttgart, while the playoff final was lost to the same opponent. In the 2019/20 DVV Cup , Dumančić made it to the semi-finals with the club. When the Bundesliga season was canceled shortly before the playoffs, Schwerin was in first place in the table.
