Betty Taube-Günter (born Taube ; born November 23, 1994 in Eberswalde ) is a German model . She became known in 2014 through her participation in the ninth season of Germany's Next Top Model , in which she reached the semifinals . Since then she has also worked as a presenter and actress .

Career

From the age of ten, Taube grew up in a children's and youth home in Lüdersdorf (near Wriezen) . In 2014 she took part in the ninth season of Germany's Next Topmodel , where she shared fourth place with Aminata Sanogo and Nathalie Volk . Taube had already reached the top 25 in casting a year earlier , but voluntarily decided not to participate in the eighth season in order to concentrate on her high school diploma .

Together with the top model candidate Aminata Sanogo, she then made a guest appearance on the ARD series Verbotene Liebe . At the Berlin Fashion Week 2014 it ran for the designer Guido Maria Kretschmer . For ProSieben she took part in the shows TV total Turmspringen and Wok-WM and received her own format in the tabloid magazine taff under the title "Betty goes ..." in which she explored various cities and countries.

Together with Stefanie Giesinger she starred in Matthias Schweighöfer's film The Nanny .

Private life

In December 2015 Taube made the relationship with the soccer player Koray Günter public, whom she had met two months earlier during the filming of “Betty goes Istanbul” . In January 2016, they both announced their engagement. The civil wedding followed in November 2016 and the free wedding in June 2019.
