The District League Oberschlesien 1938/39 was the sixth season of the District League Oberschlesien. In addition to the Lower Silesian District League 1938/39 and the Central Silesian District League 1938/39, it served as one of three second-rate district leagues to form the foundation of the Gauliga Silesia . The champions of the three district classes qualified for a promotion round in which two promoted to Gauliga were played.

The Oberschlesien district league was played again this season in a group of twelve teams in a round-robin tournament with a return game. In the end, the SuSV 09 from Beuthen prevailed and qualified for the promotion round to the Gauliga Schlesien 1939/40 , in which the Beuthener prevailed and thus rose to the Gauliga for the coming season.
