The District League Lower Silesia 1936/37 was the fourth season of the District League Lower Silesia . It served, in addition to the District League Middle Silesia 1936/37 and the District League Upper Silesia 1936/37 as one of three second-rate district leagues the substructure of the Gauliga Silesia . The champions of the three district classes qualified for a promotion round in which two promoted to Gauliga were played.

The Lower Silesian District League was again divided into two groups this season, the winners of which played the district champions in two finals. The group east from previous years was renamed group south, group west into group north. The Grünberg area moved from east to north, in return the Hirschberg area moved from west to south. After the season the groups were again divided into east and west.

In the end, VfB Liegnitz secured the district championship and thus took part in the promotion round to the Gauliga Schlesien 1937/38 . In this, however, the Görlitzer could not prevail against the sports friends Klausberg and SV 33 Klettendorf and missed the rise.

Final championship district league

In the final of the championship in the district league, the winner of the group south, VfB Liegnitz , and the winner of the group north, MSV Cherusker Görlitz , met each other. The first leg took place on April 25, 1937 in Görlitz , the second leg on May 9, 1937 in Liegnitz . Liegnitz was able to prevail and took part as the Lower Silesian representative in the promotion round to the Gauliga Schlesien 1937/38 .
