The District League Central Silesia 1938/39 was the sixth season of the District League Central Silesia . In addition to the Lower Silesian District League 1938/39 and the Upper Silesian District League 1938/39, it served as one of three second-rate district leagues that formed the foundation of the Gauliga Silesia . The champions of the three district classes qualified for a promotion round in which two promoted to Gauliga were played.

The district league of Central Silesia was played again this season in a group of eleven teams in a round-robin tournament with a return game. In the end, VfB Breslau prevailed and qualified for the promotion round to the Gauliga Schlesien 1938/39 . In this, the Breslauer failed first at the Beuthener SuSV 09 and at the STC Görlitz and only came third, which was not enough for promotion. Later, however, the football department decided to carry out the Gauliga 1939/40 in two groups due to the war, which also allowed VfB Breslau to be promoted. Since the district league Middle Silesia was also divided in the next season, there were no relegated teams this season.
