The District League Lower Silesia 1937/38 was the fifth season of the District League Lower Silesia . It served, in addition to the District League Middle Silesia 1937/38 and the District League Upper Silesia 1937/38 as one of three second-rate district leagues the substructure of the Gauliga Silesia . The champions of the three district classes qualified for a promotion round in which two promoted to Gauliga were played.

The District League Lower Silesia was again divided into two groups with nine teams each this season, the winners of which played the district champions in two finals. The group division from the previous year was reversed, so there was again a group east and a group west. In addition, the Weißwasser / Bad Muskau area was detached from the Brandenburg district and assigned to the Silesia district.

In the end, the SSVgg Bunzlau secured the district championship and thus took part in the promotion round to the Gauliga Schlesien in 1938/39 . In this, however, the Bunzlauer could not prevail against the SpVgg Ratibor 03 and the 1. FC Breslau and missed the promotion.

Final championship district league

In the final of the championship in the district league, the winner of the West Group, SSVgg Bunzlau , and the winner of the East Group, TuSpo Liegnitz , met. The first leg took place on March 20, 1938 in Bunzlau , the second leg on April 3, 1938 in Liegnitz . Bunzlau was able to prevail and took part as a Lower Silesian representative in the promotion round to Gauliga Silesia in 1938/39 , but the team failed.
