Bill Forrester
William "Bill" Forrester (born December 18, 1957 in Darby , Pennsylvania ) is a retired American swimmer .
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal , he won the bronze medal in the 200 m butterfly. Two years later he was able to win the title of the 200 m freestyle as well as the 200 m butterfly at the World Swimming Championships in Berlin . The 1980 Olympic boycott prevented him from further success.
