Birgit Hölmer
Birgit Hölmer (* 1967 in Fröndenberg / Ruhr ) is a German artist. She lives and works in Berlin .
Life
Birgit Hölmer grew up in Fröndenberg an der Ruhr and studied graphic design at the Münster University of Applied Sciences from 1990 to 1995 on a scholarship from the Hans Böckler Foundation .
From 1994 to 2000 she studied at the Art Academy in Münster and became a master student of Timm Ulrichs . From 2004 to 2008 she taught at the Brandenburgisches Bildungswerk in Potsdam. Hölmer has been teaching drawing at the Berlin University of the Arts since 2017 .
